Happy Boxing Day And 2025 In Review

First of all, good luck to you Commonwealth Contenders with your Boxing Day. Keep your gloves up and defend yourselves at all times. ;)

(Yes, yes, I know what Boxing Day is really for, despite being a Seppo.)

2025 was, for me, a pretty good year, creatively.

-I managed to get my long-delayed third book of the Junctionworld trilogy off to the publisher, Aethon Books.

-I bought the rights and files to my years of work with Rebel Minis. I'm still sorting that huge backlist of work out! That should keep me busy for a long while.

-The year started off with the 28mm Project Jagdhund being made public from its TMC debut in December 24.

-Separate uploads for the Gigante A and B to mix and match weapons and legs.

-15mm (1/100th scale) Burrows Ripper Special, Fusileer, JagdHund, Basic Raptor, Scorpionmech, Quixote, Kyphos, CAT Commanders, Sicario, Waldo, JagdHund, and KampfHund

-The Ironmonger patter of armor for Dominators, resulting in two new variants

-28mm (1/56th scale) Project Arcus Longus, KampfHund, Dark Quixote, Scorpionmech, Consortium and Colonial Viper Suits, Colonial Main Battle Tank, Spider Drones, Gun Drones, Repair Bots, Scythe Bots, Raptor-L, Tread-Leg Upgrades for Quixotes, Dominators, and Cervantes-class mechs, the Pugbots, and The Full Quixote

-1/224th Scale (8mm or Quarter Scale) stuff, as well. Projects JagdHund, Quixote, and the Basic Raptor are the initial entries into this scale, and there are more planned.

Whew! Quite the year for a Patreon/Tribes effort for which I swore I was going to relax the release pace. Well, that's part of my madness, I suppose.

All is not complete joy and triumph. We lost Rob Harper to cancer in November of 2025, a brutal loss. I was sculpting the Harper Heavy Mech to help assist with his medical bills, but he passed before I could get it ready. That's the reason for the REMEMBERROB codes. I'll be releasing the Harper Mech files next week in his memory. Build one or two for Rob.

Goals for this year are more releases from the Rebel Minis trove, updating along the way. A few more projects off The List (see the Discord for more), and a possible Titan or two.

Well, short of any unexpected disasters, here's to 2026. More to come!

Best,

John Bear Ross

PS, those codes are good for the rest of the year, and then revert to the normal 20/50% discount arrangement in January, so treat yourself to some cheap files.
