The Arcus Longus is a walking artillery battery of multiple missile systems, able to strike down Kaiju, Megamecha, or even Titans many times its size with a single cruise missile. It can flatten enemy fortifications or large formations of armor or troops with a devastating swarm of smaller cluster and targeted-top-attack munitions. Even the skies are not safe for aerial targets, thanks to its heavy quad missile launchers.
No matter what the mission, the Arcus Longus has a warhead customized to obliterate the object of its targeting sensors or your forward observers.

The space programs of many societies often languish once the Worldgate network is discovered (or re-discovered). Instead, that abundance of rocket science pivots towards a new purpose: ordnance. The multitudes of armies and mercenary companies are always searching for a better weapons system.
Enter the Arcus Longus. Starting with a modified Malleus Parabellum chassis, the engineers who designed the Arcus Longus decided to make stand-off power the focus of their project, while still retaining the mobility and parts compatibility with other similar mechs.
The Arcus Longus is able to utilize a variety of weapon systems in its main and auxiliary inventory. Cruise missiles, heavy anti-air systems for battlespace control, and guided and unguided anti-armor and anti-personnel warheads are all available via a hot-swap system at the shoulder hardpoints.
A variety of defensive systems are also options for the discerning pilot. Dual chin guns can use miniguns, heat cannons, lasers, or molten matter projectors. The turret at the top of the hull can mount a spotlight, missile launcher, or even a close-in weapon system (CIWS) to knock down incoming counterbattery missiles.
