Painted Khurasan MDMS Tanks, Part 1

Khurasan Jon showed off the soon-to-be-for-sale 15mm/1-100th scale Goanna Mk.1, Goanna Mk.2, and Taipan mercenary tanks I sculpted for him.  To see the announcement, and join in the discussion on the 15mm TMP Forum, click here.

These gloriously-painted examples are done by Tim Rich.

Goanna Mk.1 with the manned turret and 175mm Cannon and double energy gun secondary turret.

Goanna Mk.2 with robot turret and heavy rotary cannon.  Note the micromissile launcher racks.

The Taipan with crewed turret and railgun and quad missile cupola on top of the turret.

The kit will come with both types of turrets, three weapons, two accessory weapons, and 4 micromissile packs.  That's a lot of armored whoopass.

For more background on the sculpting and flexibility of these models (a lot of parts interchange with the Red Banner series of Nova Respublik tanks), click on these links to previous blog posts...

Part Two will be incoming, soonest, announcing when they go on sale, along with the long-lusted-after Cane Toad APC (!).

In the meantime, here's Khurasan's 15mm Sci-Fi Candy Store.  Enjoy wandering the digital aisles!

Best,
