Zas Kickstarter Package Arrives From Critical Mass Games!!!

Ah, I love when minis come in the mail.

Especially when they come from the United Kingdom.  That means either I'm getting a package from Hasslefree, or Critical Mass Games.

Today, it was CMG that made my Monday.

The Zas Mercenary Kickstarter effort has gone from idea, to prototype, to molding, to production, to delivery!  Huzzah!

Here's my initial unboxing series of pics.  Pardon the cell phone graininess.  I was too excited to break out the real camera.

Here's da box.  Redaction is to protect the not-so-innocent.

The initial cut.  I apologize, as my Kershaw Ken Onion Leek 1660BB needs cleaning.

Here's two containers, two infantry platoons, command sections, sensor turrets, specialists, 4 Blackguards, and 3 Ravagers.
Containers and Infantry.
 Mecha.

I took a Ravager out of its bag.

I cleaned up the sprue gates, and brought out some weapons from the Blackguard.

Well, hell, let's just break out all the unique parts for a Ravager or Blackguard, while we're at it.  Modularity!  Whoo-hoo!

Oh, this is so good.  I start building tomorrow.

Best,
JBR

PS, Mr. Harold did his own blog post, showcasing his mecha, as well as the two brilliant VTOLs.  Here's the link.

PPS, Trojan Points has his own post on the mecha, as well as the Zas infantry, and VTOLs.  Very nice "What's in the Box" series, and I've added his blog to my sidebar.  Enjoy!

Love the mech sir!

They are very nice pieces. There's a whole system of mechs in the works that are compatible with these two.

Thank God Dale is a wizard at prototype cleanup. The production models look beautifully smooth.

JBR

And so I'm covered in my own drool... Thank you very much, Sir.

I just design 'em. Dale and Craig are the guys making it happen. Thanks, though.

I like your new Horrid line, BTW. Great stuff.

Best,
JBR
